The Global Kids Sewing Party is almost here.<\/p>\n

Beginning on the 1st March and continuing for the whole month, kids all around the world will be sewing a softie and gifting it to someone or some group in their community. Kids learn how to sew and create and that community means supporting and looking out for each other…and they learn that this is something they can do right now.\"text<\/a>Last year we had over 140 groups from 25 countries participating and this year we hope to have 10,000 kids sewing softies. Here’s what some of the kids did for last year’s Party.<\/a><\/p>\n

Everyone’s welcome…schools, libraries, scout groups, sewing circles, families, anyone at all…and you don’t need to know how to sew…anyone who wants to sew a softie is invited to learn how easy sewing can be. \u00a0Not sure what to sew? Here’s a perfect softie project for new sewers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
