The mola below matches my memories pretty well:<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/images.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/images.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Anyway, here&#8217;s a tutorial for a cushion I make in my classes based on a simplified version of this idea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">I&#8217;ve used two 16&#8243; X 16&#8243; squares of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benziedesign.com\/collections\/color-palettes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> pink felt<\/a> for the cushion&#8230;a 6&#8243; X \u00a06&#8243; square of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benziedesign.com\/collections\/color-palettes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">white felt<\/a> for the reverse\u00a0appliqu\u00e9 window&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">and a 3&#8243; X \u00a03&#8243; square of light pink felt to make the heart&#8230;girls in my classes LOVE pinks&#8230;but use whatever colours appeal to you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Other things you&#8217;ll need: <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ugfOHb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">stuffing,<\/a> pony beads for the fringes, and of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3SobuxE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">needles<\/a>, thread and <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4bhLEnH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">pins<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;\">\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2139-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2139.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"213\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\">Draw an 8\u201d square on the pink felt. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\">This is going to be your se<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\">wing line when you sew the cushion together. I like to use a white wax pencil (called a chinagraph over here in Australia and in the UK) but ordinary soft pencils like 2B&#8217;s work just as well as long as the colour you&#8217;ve chosen for your felt isn&#8217;t too dark. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\">Now draw a heart inside the square and cut it out as above.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt;\">\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2188-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2188.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"293\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\">Pin your square of white felt under the cut-out heart shape and sew into place.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2246-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sewasoftie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2246.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"213\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Cut a heart from the light pink felt. Pin and sew together along the line that you drew with the pencil.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Lucida Grande';\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;
