\n<\/b>150g dark chocolate
\n125g butter
\n1\/4 cup brown sugar
\n1 egg lightly beaten
\n1\/2 cup desiccated (shredded) coconut
\n1 1\/4 cups plain flour
\n1\/4 cup self-raising flour
\n1 cup of desiccated coconut (extra)
\n
\n<\/b>Method<\/b>
\n
\n<\/b>1) Combine the chocolate, butter and sugar in a pan. Stir over low heat until melted. Set aside to cool.<\/p>\n
2) Stir in the egg, coconut, and sifted flours. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
3) To make the drops: roll 2 level teaspoons of the mixture into a ball, roll the ball in the coconut and then place on a greased oven tray. Leave a space of about 2cm between the drops.<\/p>\n
4) Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until the coconut begins to lightly brown.<\/p>\n
